Almost time to be back in school! Hope everyone's been doing some type of creative work over the summer! Ms. Marino's got tons of great projects lined up for this school year. Yeah! I've been in touch with a number of the guys over the summer... I'm so proud of my 8th graders...I never listed all the high school programs they got into...off the top of my head... Rashawn will be going to the Visual & Performing Arts HS; Corray got into the Media Arts HS (digital art; music mixing; tv studio); Steven, Jaleel, Jose & Joey into Snyder's Art Program; Derrick into Snyder's Graphics program (altho he moved to Belleville & is already playing basketball!); JJ got into Lincoln in the Culinary program; Felix got into Lincoln for Barbaring (altho last we spoke...will go to Ferris); Malik got into Dickinson, Applied Technology & Robotics; Nicholas into the JROTC in Dickinson; Dioni got into Ferris (altho was trying to switch to the art program @ Snyder) & Kris B. into Ferris. You guys better stay in touch!
On another note, I wanted to share an email & website Derrick Terry sent me. These guys started their own business... I'm so so proud!
Hey Ms.Marino ,Its Derrick Wanted To See How You Were Doing Over The Summer. I've Been Hooked On Photoshop I Still Draw A Little Not As Much As I Used To But I've Started A Little Graphic Company Called Forever Young GFX With Corray And Freddy Szubak .We Do Cd Covers, Logos, Professional Editing , Invitations Of Any Kind Weddings,Baby Showers,Birthdays You Name It.So Far I Did 4 Cd Covers And All Of The People Were Satisfied With The Out Come.i Finally Met My basketball Coach's My Varsity And JV Coach They're Really Cool, I've Been Working Out With My Soon To be Team So It's An Advantage For Me. I'm Running Out Of Things To Say But This Year I'm Going To Attempt To Come Visit Everyone At The School .
